Andrea Mitchell is an American anchor for a television newscast and a commentator for NBC News based in Washington D.C. Growing up in New York City, Mitchell received a degree in English literature from the University of Pennsylvania. Mitchell began as a radio and TV reporter in Philadelphia, KYW Radio and TV.
